To determine who serves first, spin your racquet. If you win the spin, the choice is yours to serve or receive first or to pick which end of the court you want to start playing on, or to defer the choice to your opponent.
The server should announce the score at the beginning of each game and at the start of each point.
Never walk behind a court when a point is still in play. Wait until the point is over and then cross as quickly as possible.
When sending balls back to other courts, roll them onto the back of the court. Never send them back when play is in progress.
Do not return serves that are obviously out. Hit the ball into the net or make sure it is in a safe place behind the court.
Shake hands at the end of each match.
LINE CALLS
It is the responsibility of the receiver or their partner to call serves out.
If you are unsure whether your opponent’s shot was in or out, you must call it in.
Always respect the line calls of your opponent. If there is a disagreement, offer a let and replay the point.
